Dorothy M. Reed

Dorothy Marie Reed, 72, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at her residence. Dorothy was born February 1, 1935, in Zanesville. She was a member of the Sonora United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Richard W. Reed, whom she married July 3, 1955; a daughter, Susan Reed of Thornville, Ohio and a son, Richard C. (Danyeil) Reed of Zanesville; grandchildren, Shaun Reed and Melissa Reed and a step granddaughter, Maryiah Howard, all of Zanesville. She was preceded in death by a son, David W. Reed, who died November 25, 1989 and a brother, Kenneth Klinger. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Friends may call from noon till service time. Burial will follow at St Paul Cemetery near Sonora.
