Dorothy E. Winland

Dorothy E. Winland, 81, of Zanesville died at 9:26 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born June 6, 1924 a daughter of the late Charles and Vera Gibson Tipton. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, a life member of VFW George Selsam Post 1058 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post 29 Ladies Auxiliary. Dorothy was an avid traveler and truly enjoyed her grand children and great grand children. Surviving are her loving husband, Kenneth L. Winland, whom she married June 19, 1942, of the home, one daughter Deborah Winland Miller of Zanesville, a son, Kenneth L. (Colleen ) Winland Jr.of Zanesville, a sister, Margaret Maris of Zanesville, four grandchildren, Andrew (Pam) Winland, Matthew (Jessica) Winland Crystal (Dennis) Loveridge of Heath and Shiloh Miller of Zanesville,four great grandchildren, Tess Winland of Westerville, Jack Winland of Nashport, Caitlyn Loveridge and Maggie Loveridge, both of Heath, several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Tina Morrison of Zanesville. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at noon , Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Lingsch officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, South 7th St., Zanesville, Ohio.
