Douglas Edgar Denton

Douglas Edgar Denton, born November 30th, 1955 in Zanesville Ohio, passed away January 2nd, 2023, at the age of 65.

He was the son of Fred Denton and Clarice Denton. Doug worked as a Flooring installer and tile and stone setter, for over 40 years in Myrtle Beach. He was one of the best Tile installers around.  He loved to spend time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping fishing and of course a cold one.  He was a great man and will be forever missed.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents, his father Fred Denton; his mother Clarice Denton; and a brother Dave Denton.

Doug leaves behind his two daughters, Micah Grimes and Emily Cummins; three grandchildren, Joshua Ashley Junior, Wyatt Ashley and Mason Moore; a sister Cindy Lowe and her husband Pete Lowe; a brother Tom Dane and his wife Becky Denton; and two nephews Scott Lowe and TJ Denton.

A Celebration of life will be held Friday, January 27th, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Oleshillelagh raw bar 405 south Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
