Doyle Lee Lankford

Doyle Lee Lankford, 60, of Nashport, died at 2:28 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born January 14, 1950, in Gadsden, Alabama, a son of the late Ira and Lois Lankford. He retired after 11 years of service as a electrical motor repairman for TAW and was a member of the IBEW Union. Surviving are a daughter, Christina (Joe) Ring of Zanesville; two sons, Eric Lankford of Tampa, Florida and Jeremy (Tracy) Lankford of Zanesville; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Kristina, Matthew, William and Sarah; and the mother of his children, Susan Ellerbe of Tampa, Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2010 at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. E. Wayne Stout officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
