Dwight H. (Jr.) Long

Dwight H. Long Jr., 75, of Zanesville, died at 9:37 A.M. on Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Genesis Good Samaritan CCU. He was born January 11, 1938, in Zanesville, a son of the late Dr. Dwight H. Sr. and Lorna Brown Long. He graduated from Zanesville High School, class of 1955, and was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church. Dwight was an avid Ohio State fan, and he served as an usher at the Ohio State football games for many years. Surviving are his sister Imogene Sterling; and two nieces Tracy Creggs and Tricia Atwell. Friends and family may call two hours prior to the funeral service, which will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, August 2, 2013, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, with Rev. Paul Ashbrook officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
