Earl E. Helmbrecht

Earl E. Helmbrecht, 82, of Zanesville, died at 9:14 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born July 21, 1926, a son of the late Clinton and Laura Hilliker Helmbrecht. He was a retired investment stock broker for the Ohio Company. He was a member of Market Street Baptist Church, Zavi Shrine, Aladdin Temple 32 Mason, and Masonic Lodge Ralph Rickley #670 F&AM. He was a World War II Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Janice L. Foos Helmbrecht, whom he married August 20, 1966, of the home; two daughters, Laura Helmbrecht and Karen J. (Sean) Dickson of Atlanta, Georgia; a son, Clinton A. Helmbrecht of New Albany; 4 grandchildren, Kya J., Connor A., Hunter F. and Will R. Dickson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Chadwick; and a brother, William J. Helmbrecht. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville and from 8:30 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Market Street Baptist Church, 140 North 6th St., Zanesville with Pastor D. Scott Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio with full military rites being held at the grave site.
