Edna C. Boetcher

Edna C. Boetcher, 86, of Bellefontaine, died at 7:52 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. She was born February 11, 1923, in Canton, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Wade and Estella Johnson Cotter. She was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ and a mother and grandmother to many beyond her family. Surviving are three daughters and their husbands, Pamela and Richard Marty and Sharon and Herb Hayes, both of Belle Center, Ohio and Cynthia and Patrick Kolpacke of Ferndale, Michigan; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. Boetcher, who died March 21, 1996. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Rev. Janice Hilkerbaumer officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
