Edward A. Dennis, 64, of Zanesville, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Muskingum County Home. He was born December 15, 1945, in Canton, Ohio, a son of the late Harold and Helen Homan Dennis. He was a retired mould maker for Brockway Glass. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, attended Market St. Baptist Church and was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Judith Kussmaul Dennis, of the home; three daughters, Leslie Sturgil and Debbie Dennis, both of Zanesville and Jenny (Joe) Sayles of Duncan Falls; three sons, Jeff (Cheryl) Dennis, Jeff Colling and Jay (Amanda) Colling, all of Zanesville; a sister, Marlene (Jerry) James of Zanesville; 15 grandchildren, Austin and Allison Dennis, Josh, Justin, Jade, Jared, Jenna, Jessica and Jacie Middleton, Evan Colling, Justin Thrush, Bethany and Brooke Colling, Matthew Sturgil, and Paige Edwards; and a brother-in-law, Paul (Linda) Kussmaul of Zanesville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Dennis; and a brother, Don Dennis. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
