Edward W. Kirk

Edward W. Kirk, 91, of Chandlersville, died Friday, April 15, 2005 at 1: 20 p.m. at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born April 8, 1914 at Zanesville a son of the late Leroy and Edna Eppler Kirk. He was retired from Brockway Glass after 26 years of service, was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of Chandlersville Church of Christ. Surviving are his loving wife, Naomi L. Hook Kirk, whom he married March 28, 1938, a son, Larry (Sondra) Kirk of Chandlersville, two grandsons, Roger Kirk of Chandlersville and Bill (Norma) Kirk of Apache Junction, AZ, two great granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer Kirk both of Apache Junction, AZ, a brother, Harry (Alma) Kirk of Zanesville and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Kirk and a sister, Virginia Dingey. No calling hours will be held. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Zanesville Memorial Park. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold full military rites at the grave. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services are entrusted with all arrangements.
