Edward D. Zigo

Edward D. Zigo, 80, of Zanesville, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at his home. He was born October 5, 1934, in Zanesville, a son of the late George and Anna Soter Zigo. He had worked in the Cafeteria Department at Genesis Bethesda Hospital, had previously worked for the Government Nursery in Zanesville and the Depot in Shelby, OH, and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Surviving are a sister Jean Milatovich of Zanesville; two brothers, Thomas (Rita) Zigo of Alexandria, and John D. (Sharon) Zigo of Zanesville; six nephews, Allen (Kathy) Milatovich of Zanesville, Tom (Becky) Zigo of Alexandria, Eric (Wendi) Zigo of Alexandria, Matthew (Barb) Milatovich of Zanesville; David (Nancy) Zigo of Dallas, TX, and Daniel Zigo of White Lake, MI; three nieces, Karen (Steve) Coe of Zanesville, Lynn (Rollie) Kanavel of Alexandria, and Lorraine (Robert) Aepli of Zanesville; several great nieces and great nephews; and five great great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Frank Zigo; and a brother-in-law Steve Milatovich. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 6, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Rev. Mr. B.N. Peterson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
