Ella L. Phillis

Ella Louise Phillis, 80, of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord at 10:15 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan hospital. She was born July 4, 1928, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Homer C. and Viola M. Fountain Wilson. She was a retired restaurant employee and was a Baptist by faith. Surviving are six daughters and two sons; 26 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Corder and a son, William Herald. No calling hours will be observed. A caring cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
