Eloise Ruth Bishop

Eloise Ruth Bishop, 81, of Zanesville, died at 6:14 A.M. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 10, 1943, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late William P. and Eloise R. (Taylor) Miller. She was a graduate of Hopewell High School and enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, tole painting, making porcelain dolls and crafting.

She is survived by two sons, William (Julia) Bishop and Tim (Kim) Bishop ; two brothers, William “Pete” (Joy) Miller Jr. and James P. (Paulette) Miller; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Bishop, Brock Bishop, Grant Bishop, Jay Bishop, Erin (Seth) Hina, Courtney (Levi) Kuhn, Caitlyn (Jeff) Roberts, Cody Tusing and Chelcey Tusing; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Eloise is preceded in death by her husband, William P. Bishop, whom she married on October 15, 1961 and died February 10, 2008; ; and a grandson, Zach Bishop.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Eloise will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband William at Williams Cemetery, Zanesville.
