Elsie R. Flynn

Elsie R. Flynn, 87, of Chandlersville, died at 5:20 A.M. on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born November 23, 1931, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Bohdan and Hildred Merriam Bednarczuk. She was a lifetime resident of Zanesville and worked at United Technologies and Lumilite Candle Company. She is survived by a son, Dr. Jeffery Flynn; a daughter, Patricia (Frederick) Weaver; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth Menzie, Janice McConaha, Betty (Gary) Founds, and Judy Middlestett; and two daughter-in-laws, Claudia Flynn and Sharon Flynn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall L. Flynn who died November 26, 1989; two sons, Michael and Christopher Flynn; two brothers, Richard and Ronald Bednarczuk; and a sister, Thelma Rogers. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Mr. Sam Dunn officiating.
