Esther Faye Maxwell

Esther Faye Maxwell, 79, of Zanesville, ,went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:15 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2005 at her residence. She was born May 10, 1926 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Roy and Nora Scott Nixon. Mrs. Maxwell was a member of the South Zanesville United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Delbert E. Maxwell, whom she married Married May 9, 1950, of the home, a daughter, Becky (Rusty) Robison of Westerville,a son, Myron (Kim) Maxwell of Zanesville, two sisters, Ruth (James) Foster and Sarah (James M) West, all of Zanesville, a brother, Ralph (Rhea) Nixon of Zanesville, two grandchildren, Anita and Amanda Robison of Westerville , several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the funeral home with the Rev. Joy French and the Rev. Orlo Freshley officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Mrs Maxwell gave unselfishly of herself to family and friends. She was an avid gardner and baker who taught us to appreciate the beauty of flowers, making pies and baking cookies. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care or to the Charity of one's choice.
