Eulalia Hutson

Eulalia Patton Hutson, 95, of Zanesville, died at 7:45 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009 at Genesis Extended Care and Rehab. She was born June 3, 1913, in Waynesburg, PA., a daughter of the late William A. and Luvetta Ammons Patton. She was a homemaker, a member of Market Street Baptist Church, Crusaders Class and the Sarah Circle. Eulalia also was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post 399 of Dresden, the Muskingum Co. Republican Club, American Red Cross and the National Rifle Association. Surviving are a son, Arnold (Mary Lou) Hutson of Roseville; daughter, Eulalia Pat (James) Frederick of Chandlersville; five grandchildren, Peter Jason (Nicole) Hutson of Fallbrook, CA., Joseph Morgan (Kristen) Hutson of Cincinnati, Sarah Jane Hutson of Roseville, Rebecca Jane Simmons, retired U.S. Navy E-7 of Virginia Beach, VA. and Jacqueline Sue Hufford of Texas; four great grandchildren; a sister, Billie Swan of Austin, Texas; a special friend and caregiver, Paula Priest of the Genesis Extended Care and Rehab Center; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Arnold C. Hutson, who died November 30, 1992; and a brother, Donley Patton. Friends may call from 11 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 on what would have been Eulalia's 96th birthday at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Dr. Richard Boyer officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital, 700 Children's Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43205 in memory of Eulalia Hutson.
