Eulalia Hutson

Eulalia Patton Hutson, 95, of Zanesville, died at 7:45 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009 at Genesis Extended Care and Rehab. She was born June 3, 1913, in Waynesburg, PA., a daughter of the late William A. and Luvetta Ammons Patton. She was a homemaker, a member of Market Street Baptist Church, Crusaders Class and the Sarah Circle. Eulalia also was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post 399 of Dresden, the Muskingum Co. Republican Club, American Red Cross and the National Rifle Association. Surviving are a son, Arnold (Mary Lou) Hutson of Roseville; daughter, Eulalia Pat (James) Frederick of Chandlersville; five grandchildren, Peter Jason (Nicole) Hutson of Fallbrook, CA., Joseph Morgan (Kristen) Hutson of Cincinnati, Sarah Jane Hutson of Roseville, Rebecca Jane Simmons, retired U.S. Navy E-7 of Virginia Beach, VA. and Jacqueline Sue Hufford of Texas; four great grandchildren; a sister, Billie Swan of Austin, Texas; a special friend and caregiver, Paula Priest of the Genesis Extended Care and Rehab Center; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Arnold C. Hutson, who died November 30, 1992; and a brother, Donley Patton. Friends may call from 11 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 on what would have been Eulalia's 96th birthday at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Dr. Richard Boyer officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
