Eva Mae Clair) (St.) Gordon

Eva Mae Gordon, 80, of Zanesville, died at 2:54 A.M. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at her home. She was born February 18, 1934, in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late Howard and Josephine Pierce St. Clair. She had worked as an office manager, and also in home health care. Surviving are her husband Everett K. Gordon, whom she married October 5, 1995; a daughter Lisa (Ben) Bradley of New Concord; two sons, Tom (Vicki) Holmes and Randy (Laura) Holmes, all of New Concord; two step daughters, Angela (Ed) Bussey of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Heather Gordon of Temecula, CA; a sister Dorothy (Lonnie) Stephen of Cumberland; four grandchildren, Hanna Bradley, Sara Bradley, Joseph Holmes, and Jacob Holmes; and two step grandchildren, Stephanie Bussey and Kimberly Bussey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Sue Holmes; and a brother Wilbert "Bill" St. Clair. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, August 1, 2014, with Pastor Bill Quinn officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio: 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, Ohio 43055.
