Evelyn L. Anderson

Evelyn L. Anderson, 79, of Zanesville, died at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at her residence. She was born August 16, 1929, in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late Clyde and Goldie Batteiger Church. She grew up working for her family's Bakery, known as Lee's Bakery. Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are two daughters, Janice Anderson and Sally (Rick) Jenkins, all of Zanesville; a son, Max L.(Judy) Anderson of Zanesville; 5 grandchildren, Delryna Krouskoupf, Michael (Chasity) Jenkins, Max Lee Anderson Jr., Janelle Gutherie and Benjamin Scott; 4 great grandchildren, Nicholas Jenkins, BrayLynn Krouskoupf, Madison Jenkins and Gabrielle Guthrie; her special friend and caregiver, Lloyd Caplinger and her loving dog, Gretta Sue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and James Church; and two sisters, Betty Bowman and Virginia Bartlett. No calling hours will be observed. A caring cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
