Evelyn Scott Bunting

Evelyn L. Scott Bunting, 77, of Zanesville, died at 4:10 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2009 at Genesis Extended Care & Rehab Center. She was born July 5, 1932, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Ray & Margaret Whitters Scott. She was a homemaker and attended the Northside Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her loving husband, John E. Bunting, whom she married February 14, 1992, of the home, a son, William (Lottie) Hayes of Virginia Beach, VA., a daughter, Diana ( John) Gehrt- of Hephzibah, Georgia; two step-sons, Mark Bunting of Zanesville and Richard (Judy) Bunting of Columbus; a grandson, Michael Gehrt of Georgia; five step-grandchildren; a sister, Beulah Carley of Bellflower, CA and two nieces, Nancy Black and Debra Black both of California. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the funeral home with Dr. James A. Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Granger Cemetery, Zanesville.
