Evelyn DiVincenzo, 98 of Zanesville, died at 4:51am Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Altercare of Zanesville. She was born April 1, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Peter Polis. Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church and St. Thomas Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph (Ruth) DiVincenzo and Rodger (Donna) DiVincenzo, a daughter, Rosemarie (Fred) Zediak, eight grandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Bernardin, Eric Zediak, Jennifer (Adam) King, Jason (Shannon) DiVincenzo, Joseph (Tiffany) DiVincenzo II, Jonathan DiVincenzo, Steven (Chrissie) DiVincenzo, and Christy (Jose) Perez; 9 great grandchildren, Anthony Corbett, Nicholas Corbett, Luke DiVincenzo, Isaac DiVincenzo, Addison DiVincenzo, Liam DiVincenzo, Heidi Perez, Jake Perez, and Luke Perez.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James DiVincenzo, two brother’s Peter Pollice and Lefty Polis, four sisters, Connie Pistininzi, Martha Wright, Rose Nicholas, and Mary Police.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 Main Street, Zanesville with Father JCP Sullivan officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, James, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
