Evelyn J. Morrison

Evelyn J. Morrison, 73, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. She was born June 23, 1932, in East Fairmont, WV., the daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette Locklarer Grosscup. Mrs. Morrison was a member of the St Thomas Catholic Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mindie (Grendel) Scott of Philo, Theresa Morrison of Zanesville, Amy Mangle of Zanesville, Kacy (Jeffrey) Wilkins of Zanesville, and Rhonda (Bryan) Lowry of Norwich, three sons, Ronald (Karen) Morrison of Blue Rock, Vince (Kelly) Morrison of Zanesville, and Ray (Edith) Morrison of East Fultonham, two sisters, Joyce (Darrell) Hunt and Linda (James) McCoy, both of Winchester Ind, twenty eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Morrison, who died October 14, 2002 and an infant son Joseph. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2005 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2005 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with Father Dominic Fields as celebrant. A Vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville.
