Faris J. Rushay, 69, of Zanesville died at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006 surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness. He was born June 6, 1936, in Galion, Ohio to the late Forest S. Rushay and Sadie Faara Rushay. He retired in 1993 after 27 years as the Superintendent of Wastewater Treatment for the City of Zanesville. He is survived by a brother, a sister, four children, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at the Holy Trinity Melkite Greek Catholic Church, located at 3745 West Pike, next to Yoder's Farm Market. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2006 with Fr. Ignatius Harrington officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
