Faye Arlene (Montgomery) Johnson

Faye Arlene Johnson, 63, of Zanesville, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2011. She was born May 20, 1947, in Zanesville, a daughter of Betty Steed Montgomery and the late Robert C. Montgomery. Faye was a member of the Bunk House Reelers of Buckeye Lake and former member of Zanes & Janes of Zanesville. She has also danced all over Ohio, West Virginia, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina and Kentucky. Surviving are her mother, Betty Arlene Montgomery of Zanesville; her special friend, Don Elmore; brothers and sisters, Roy (Pam) Montgomery, Alan Montgomery, Becky (Wayne) Hughes, John (Becky) Montgomery and Donna (Mike) Hampton, all of Zanesville; aunt and uncle, Wanita (Tillman) Shaw of Heath; cousins, Wilma (Henry) Batstra of Nashport, Bill (Polly) Steed Jr. of Zanesville, Jim (Shirley) Montgomery of Zanesville, Alma (Melvin) Dilley of Zanesville, Eugene Shaw of Heath, Rick (Sheri) Shaw of Georgia, Ronnie (Sue) Steed of New Zealand and Chris (Deanna) Steed of Cincinnati; and many special nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Johnson; an infant son, Delbert Johnson; uncles, Harold Steed, Arthur Steed and Billy Steed; and cousins, Wanda Grandstaff, Loren Montgomery and Larry Steed. Family and friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Seese and Rev. Reginald Martin. officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Henry, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
