Florence G. "Nanny" Dillon, 78, of Zanesville, died at 12:35 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 at Willow Haven Care Center. She was born November 25, 1927, in Burning Springs, West Virginia, to the late Ross and Dora Mackey Wyer. She was a factory worker at United Technologies. Surviving is a son, Richard Dillon of Zanesville and a daughter, Sherry Rucker of South Zanesville; three grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Brock, and Jason (Shelby) Dillon both of Zanesville and Will (Amanda) Rucker of South Zanesville; seven great grandchildren, Cody Brock, Alexis Brock, Gage Dillon, Collin Dillon, Wyatt Factor, Justice Rucker and Payton Rucker, a sister, Dixie Lang of Zanesville and a brother, Clyde (Linda) Wyer, of Roseville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dillon, who passed away in 1960, a son, Robert Dillon, several brothers, sisters and nephews, Merle Lang Jr. and Larry Lang. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2006 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2006 with Mr. Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery, Duncan Falls, Oh.
