Florence Fay Hopkins, 84, of Zanesville, died at 5:30 A.M. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at her home. She was born February 25, 1931, in Crooksville, a daughter of the late George Arthur and Josephine Edna Dunn Hull. She had worked for Essex Wire, loved to crochet, quilt, and make baby blankets, and was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ. She is survived by a son Raymond (Ida) Carroll of Zanesville; a daughter Nancy Jo (Frank) Kaylor of Wooster; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Carl Raymond Carroll; her second husband Robert Hopkins; and a sister Mary Ann Underwood. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the aids at Quality of Life who helped care for Florence. Friends and family may call from 12:00-2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, followed by a graveside service which will be held at 2:30 P.M. at St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora.
