Frances Evelyn Spargrove, 83, of Zanesville, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 22, 1928, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Ebert and Daisy Quigley Hartman. She graduated from Lash High School Class of 1945. She was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being around all of her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was known by all as Granny Franny. Surviving are three daughters, Beckie (Gary) Minner and Kathy (David) Winland, both of Zanesville and Cindy (Dan) Bollinger of Nashport; a son, Jim (Dedi) Spargrove of Zanesville; nine grandchildren, Kristi (Mike) Agin, Sean Minner, Loni (Jeff) Tysinger, Lori (Todd) McLoughlin, Jay (Irene) Spargrove, Eli (Tricia) Winland, Joby (Trish) Morrow, Jessie Bollinger and Beau (Samantha) Bollinger; and twelve great grandchildren, Jenna, Jack, Jake, Janie, Lainey, Lakyn, Natalie, Ethan, Deagan, Mason, Emerson and Carly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Spargrove, who died February 12, 2000; a brother, Jeff Turner; and a sister, Esther Barr. No calling hours will be observed. A private graveside service will be held at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
