Francis E. Buty, 85, of Nashport, formerly of Corning, died at 7:35 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1925, in Corning, Ohio, a son of the late James and Rose Pinter Buty. He retired after 38 years of service for Timken Roller Bearings. He was a United States Army World War II Veteran. He enjoyed gardening, was an outdoors person and arborist. Surviving are a daughter, Robin (Fred) Morgan of Nashport; a son, Kevin Buty of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Austin and Broc Buty; two brothers, John (Lilly) Buty of Toledo, OH and Donald Buty of Columbus, OH; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Joseph Buty; and a sister, Rose Ward. Friends and family may call from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville where The United States Army in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058 will hold full military rites at 4:00 p.m. with funeral services following.
