Francis E. "Gene" Yonley

Francis E. "Gene" Yonley, 83, of Zanesville, died Friday, July 27, 2018, at his home. He was born November 24, 1934, in Zanesville, a son of the late Arthur and Lulu Lashley Yonley. He was the Owner/Operator of Yonley's Auto Body Repair, a member of Northside Church of the Nazarene, Lafayette Lodge #79 F&AM, and loved to play golf. He is survived by two daughters, Micki (Kevin) Curry and Lisa (Rick) Sharrer; a son, Steven (Cheryl Snyder) Lyons; nine grandchildren, Cory (Lissy Bailey) Lyons, Jonathan Curry, Elya Curry, Joshua (Ira Ruiz) Castillo, Erin (Dylan) Daniels, Devan Castillo, Jameson (Paige Morrow) Curry, Conner Yonley, and Autumn Sharrer; a brother, Cecil (Patricia) Yonley; two sisters, Mary Wood and Sue (Terry) Donaldson; a sister-in-law, Lori Yonley; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend Janelle Emerick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Yonley; a brother Robert Yonley; and a brother-in-law, Roy Wood. Friends and family may call from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 2, 2018, with Dr. James Miller officiating.
