Frederick Noel Coward Jr., 41, of Newark, Ohio passed from a sudden illness, Saturday, September 10, 2011 at his home. He was born November 27, 1969 in Wabash, Indiana, a son of Verna R. Bertram Coward of Newark and the late Frederick Noel Coward Sr. He was employed by Shelly & Sands for 21 years, was an avid bowler and softball player and a Green Bay Packers fan. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons, Tony (Renetta) Coward of Philo and Tyler Coward of Zanesville; a grandson, Ethan Coward of Philo; a granddaughter, Hannah Reynolds of Philo; a sister, Carolee (Michael) Coward Frandsen of Riverside, PA.; a brother, Craig Alan Coward; grandmother, Dorothy Coward of Platteville, WI, several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins and the mother of his children, Angie Coward of Zanesville. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Ann Coward, grandmother, Leona Bertram; grandfathers, Ernest Bertram and Vincent Coward. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 with Pastor Thomas Myers officiating. He will be laid to rest at Poplar Fork Cemetery, Gratiot.
