Fred K. Greiner, 95, of Zanesville, died at 6:21 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Autumn Healthcare of Zanesville. He was born June 8, 1914, in Trinway, a son of the late Albert and Ada Lee Greiner. He retired as an inventory control supervisor for General Electric. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Ohio University, was a member of Lafayette Lodge #79 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge and served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy during World War II. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Ann Wiley Greiner, whom he married February 14, 1946 of the home; a son, Fred K. Greiner Jr. of Oakland, CA.; a daughter, Kimberly MacLean of Gratiot; two grandchildren, Kelly Bleumenstock of Zanesville and Sean Bolen of Zanesville; two great grandchildren, Taylor and Zachary Bleumenstock; and his furry friends, Maggie, Mandy and Sam. No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
