G. Michael Dudas, 48, of Frazeysburg, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at his residence. He was born January 25, 1960, in Columbus, a son of the late George Jr. and Dorothy Henderson Dudas. He had worked as a maintenance man for Holophane Lighting for 20 years and was a member of the United Steel Workers of America Local Union #105. He bowled at Sunrise Center in the John Dudas K of C Friday night league and was a maintenance man by trade and a farmer by heart and he enjoyed tractors. Mike was an avid Ohio State fan and a Catholic by faith. Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Mary J. Monroe Dudas, whom he married July 18, 1998, of the home; two daughters, Annie Hoffman and Denise Hoffman of Frazeysburg; two grandsons, Drannon J. Nelson and James D. Nelson III; two brothers, Patrick (Linda) Dudas of Zanesville and Matthew (Keeley) Dudas of McConnelsville; a niece, Rachel Dudas; three nephews, John Dudas, Jack Conlan and Pat Conlan; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2008 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008 at the funeral home with Dr. James Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. He loved his family, especially his two grandsons.
