Garoldine Mcferren

Garoldine McFerren, 76, of Zanesville, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at her Home. She was born March 24, 1930 at Eagleport, a daughter of the late Donald and Velma Stone Monroe. She retired after 18 years of service as a cashier for Ross IGA. Garoldine loved crossword puzzles, jig saw puzzles, NASCAR, boating and all sporting events involving her grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, Rita (Michael) Church of Zanesville and Becky (Mark) Rawlins of Nashport; three sons; Ronald (Jean Anne) McFerren of Hopewell, Randy (Cindy) McFerren of New Concord and Rick (Pam) McFerren of Zanesville, eight grandchildren, Lynette (Marion) Lazar, Richard (Margi) Haines, Ray McFerren, Cassi, Caleb and Caiti McFerren ,Chase and Wes Rawlins, Three great grandchildren; Kelsi and John Haines and Izabella Lazar, two brothers; Don Monroe of Upper Sandusky and Roy (Norma) Monroe of Canton and all her special friends at the Mapleview Terrace Apartments. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kline McFerren, who died March 1, 1979, a grandson, Shawn McFerren and a brother, Robert Monroe. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2006 at Zanesville Memorial Park with Rev. Rob Turner officiating.
