Gary L. 'Spark Spargrove, 43, of South Zanesville died at 1:46 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005 at Select Specialty Hospital, Zanesville. He was born January 3, 1962 in Zanesville, a son of the late Carlos and Helen Fenton Spargrove. He was a 1980 graduate of Maysville High School and had worked for Royal Cleaners for 15 years, Auto Zone Distribution for 4 years and was in the Environmental Services at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was an avid fan of Cleveland Browns and Indians, an enjoyed NASCAR, and was a member of the Zanesville Old-Timers Association. Surviving are his wife and best friend, Trudy Swingle Spargrove whom he married June 17, 1995, his two dogs whom beloved, Saddie and Bear, a sister, Peg Spargrove of Zanesville, father-in-law, Rick (Tammy) Swingle of Zanesville, mother-in-law, Ginny (Bernie)Fitzsimmons of Lawrence , SC., four brother-in-laws, Heath Swingle and Craig Stoneburner both of Zanesville and Mark & Cameron Fitzimmons both of SC., sister-in-law, Jody Fitzsimmons of SC., two nieces, Whitnee Stoneburner and Kiersten Swingle, two nephews, Herbie and Buddy Cain, several cousins and a special friend, Donna Holshuer of Avondale. Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2005 with Pastor Doug Winner officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
