George Dudas Jr., 71, of Frazeysburg, Ohio, died at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2006 at the Genesis Good Samaritan ER . He was born November 26, 1934 in Chicago Ill.,the son of the late George and Marcella R. Manarick Dudas Sr. George was a Right of Way Specialist for the Federal Highway Administration retiring December 30, 1989. He was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church and a Korean War Veteran. Surviving are three sons, G. Michael( Mary)Dudas of Frazeysburg, Patrick L.(Linda) Dudas of Zanesville, and Matthew D.(Keeley)Dudas of Mc Connelsville, one sister Jo Ann (Don) Eppley of Dresden, two grandchildren, Rachel and John Dudas, four step grandchildren, Annie and Denise Hoffman and Patrick and Jack Conlan, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy C. Dudas, whom died December 21, 2003. Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville Ohio. A Vigil Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the funeral home. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2006 at the St. Thomas Catholic Church with a Dominican Father as celebrant. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park with VFW George Selsam Post 1058 holding military services at the grave.
