George Albert Parker

George Albert Parker, 71, of Malta, passed away peacefully at 8:55 P.M. on Monday, February 22, 2021, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 8, 1949, in Zanesville, to the late Albert G. Parker and Mary (Crippen) Parker Gheen. George enjoyed spending time with his family and tinkering with old tractors. He was a retired school bus driver for Morgan County.

He is survived by his sister, Ellen and children Albert, George (Nellie), and Julie; two grandchildren, Damial (Abby) and Haley (Justin); and two amazing great-grandchildren, Serenity and Wyatt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Paul, Ruth, Ruby, Judy, Charles, and Robert.

A cremation has taken place under the direction of BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with no calling hours or services to be held.
