George A. Peairs

George A. Peairs, 68, of Zanesville, died at 5:10 P.M. on Monday, February 23, 2015, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born October 20, 1946, in Zanesville, a son of the late Frank G. and Olive M. Roberts Peairs. He was a Vietnam Veteran for the United States Air Force, retired after 29 years of service as a Machine Operator for Brockway Glass, and was a 4-H member. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Karol A. Tipton Peairs, whom he married January 27, 1968; a son Troy Peairs of Zanesville; a daughter Lori Peairs of Zanesville; six grandchildren; and one great grandson. Friend and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 27, 2015, with Pastor Howard Thompson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Chandlersville Cemetery, Chandlersville, with full military honors being conducted by the United States Air Force in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice-Morrison House: 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
