George Richard Hutcheson

George Richard Hutcheson, 82, of Nashport, passed away at 4:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 18, 2014, peacefully at his home. He was born August 31, 1932, in Zanesville, a son of the late George William and Pauline E. Summers Hutcheson. He was a graduate of Lash High School, had worked in banking for 42 years and retired from Banc Ohio. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the American Legion Post #29, VFW Post #1058, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife Anneliese Rohm Hutcheson, whom he married August 5, 1955; a son Steven (Deborah) Hutcheson of Brandon, FL; a daughter Pamela (James) Werts of Suffolk, VA; thirteen grandchildren, Jocelyn (Martin) Berg, Joshua (Janitsa) Werts, Allison (Bryan) Taylor, John (Elisha) Hutcheson, Jarmel Werts, Budwell Hutcheson, Christopher Hutcheson, Hillary Hutcheson, Megan (Rajiv) Westlick, Jacayla Werts, Benjamin Lumbatis, Jesse Werts, and Lincoln Lumbatis; twenty great grandchildren; a sister Dorothy (Donald) Burke of Kingsland, TX; a sister-in-law Elfi Flehming of Germany; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Ann Hutcheson and Catherine E. Hutcheson; a brother Paul W. Hutcheson; a sister-in-law Louise Hutcheson; his mother and father-in-law Ernst and Luise Rohm; and his grandmother-in-law Anna Guba. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M., with an Eagles service at 5:45 P.M., on Sunday, December 21, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 22, 2014, with Rev. Mark Matzke officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
