George F Whitehouse

George F. Whitehouse, 75, of Glenford, died at 11:43 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born January 9, 1936, in Roseville, a son of the late Harry L. and Isabell E. Brumage Whitehouse. He was a graduate of Glenford High School Class of 1956 where he was a member of the FFA. He retired from Republic Services. He was a member of the Welsh Hill Baptist Church, Richland Grange #1899 and was Master of Jackson Rehoboth Grange #2000. Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Marti Burns Whitehouse, whom he married April 15, 2000, of the home; two step sons, Todd Hedges of Zanesville and Pat Hedges of Miami Beach, FL; six step grandchildren, Amber, Nicholas, Jacob, Kiel, Justin and Sara; three step great grandchildren, Illiana, Luke and Koby; a sister, Rachel (Edward) Smith of Granville; a sister-in-law, Gerry Whitehouse of Heath; and four nieces and three nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Forest Whitehouse. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. John Fields officiating. George will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
