Georgianna M Frye

Georgianna M. Frye, 72, of 1126 Adams Lane, Zanesville, passed away at 3:50 a.m. Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the Adams Lane Care Center. She was born December 16, 1937, in Roseville, Ohio the daughter of the late Ernest W. and Emma Betty Allen Van Horn. Georgianna was a former nursing attendant at the former Shields Nursing Home and the Helen Purcell Home and also worked at Six County. Surviving are three daughters, Myra Wheeler of Zanesville, Sherry (Joshua) Noll of Somerset Ohio and Bobbie Jo (Kevin) Shatzer of Hamilton, Ohio and adopted daughter, Patty (Martin) Angler; two sons, Howard Lee (Erin) Frye and Howard Newton, both of Zanesville; a sister, Donna Dobbins of Zanesville; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and special friend, Thurman Sheppard.. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther (Walt) Frye, who died in 1986; and a brother, Richard (Ernest) Van Horn. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Mt Sterling Cemetery with Pastor Ronald McCoid officiating. All arrangements are entrusted to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. No Calling hours will be observed.
