Geraldine E. Mitchell

Geraldine E. Mitchell, 86, of Zanesville, died at 7:24 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born October 26, 1923, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Paul T. and Faye Williams Fletcher. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are four sons, Charles Thomas Kelly of Cincinnati, Ohio, David L. (Donna) Kelly of Cincinnati, Kenneth (Sylvia) Mitchell of Zanesville and Ronald (Gail) Mitchell of Hilliard; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Brandon Mitchell, and Kristina Mitchell; two nephews, Craig Fletcher and Dr. Jeff Fletcher, both of Jackson, Mississippi; and a niece, Gail Fletcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil K. Mitchell, who died in 2001; a daughter, Teresa Kelly; and a brother, Fred Fletcher. Friends may call from11:00 a.m until time of service at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville, with Pastor David L. Kelly and Pastor Joe Seese officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
