Gladys E. Rosensweet, 92, of Zanesville died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2005 at the Helen Purcell Home in Zanesville. She was born April 25, 1912, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Stewart and Florence Moore. She was a member of the Beth Abraham Synagogue. She had worked with her late husband Albert at Lee Jewelers, had been a seamstress and had worked as a telephone operator in Portsmouth. Surviving are two nephews, Norman " Sonny" Moore of Florida and David Moore of Michigan, two nieces, Anna L. Biggs and Mary Ann Swords both of Portsmouth. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Rosensweet, who died March 29, 1996. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Rabbi Jeffrey Elson officiating. Burial will follow at Jewish Cemetery, Zanesville.
