Glenn H. Haught, 84, of Zanesville, died at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at his home. He was born May 29, 1930, in Bethesda, OH, a son of the late Harold F. and Lillian Jane Cumberlidge Haught. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, retired after 28 years as a truck driver from Yellow Freight, was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, La Fayette Lodge #79 F&AM, and had volunteered at Genesis Good Samaritan for 15 years. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Patricia R. Bigham Haught, whom he married June 10, 1949, of the home; two sons, Steven E. (Wilma) Haught of Zanesville and Kevin D. (Sherrie) Haught of Winter Haven, FL; a daughter Glenna S. Taylor of Zanesville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother Fred (Patty) Haught of Wilmington, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Marjorie Kirkbride, Linda Arbuckle, Bernice Jarrett, and Shirley Sharrock. Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2015, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, with Pastor Linda Morrow officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville, with full military honors being presented by the United States Army in conjunction with VFW George Selsam Post #1058. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice-Morrison House: 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
