Gloria F. Trout, 72, of Zanesville, died at 10:35 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2004 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born August 12, 1931 at Duncan Falls, Ohio a daughter of the late William C, & Opal Inez Vincent Tanner Sr. She was a member of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary, enjoyed doing plastic canvas needlepoint and crocheting. She had been active as a Girl Scout Leader and as a Cub Scout Leader. She was an avid flower gardener and she dearly loved her pets. Surviving are her husband, William R. Trout, whom she married March 18, 1949 of the home, daughter, Lynn Akers of Zanesville, two sons, Richard ( Dianne ) Trout Jr. and Jim Trout all of Zanesville, two grandchildren; Mathew E. ( Alicia ) Akers and Juni ( Steve ) Runkle both of Zanesville, six great grandchildren; Daniel Akers, Katelin Akers, Cheyenne Akers, Terry Runkle, Hanna Runkle and Morgan Runkle, sister; Helen Hammer of Zanesville and many nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by son, Daniel E. Trout, great grandson; Xian Michael Allan Akers, three brothers; Lawrence Tanner, William Tanner Jr. and an infant brother, one sister, Frances Tanner. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2004 at The Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Graveside services will be held at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Mark Noe officiating.
