Gregory Tom Baker, 60, of Zanesville, died on Monday, July 22, 2013, at his home. He was born March 23, 1953, in Zanesville, a son of Ruth Fusner Ball of Zanesville and the late Harold Baker. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and had worked as a Tool and Die Maker for United Technologies, and in Shipping and Receiving for Lowes. Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter Nicole Baker of Zanesville; two sons C.J. Baker and Thomas (Carolyn) Baker, all of Zanesville; a sister Holly (Mike) Hoge of Avondale; two brothers John Baker and Rusty (Wendy) Ball, all of Zanesville; and three grandchildren, Blaize, Blandon, and Ayden Baker. No calling hours will be observed and a dignified cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at First Baptist Church, 105 S 6th Street, Zanesville, with Pastor Joe Seese officiating, and with military honors being presented by VFW George Selsam Post #1058. Arrangements were entrusted to the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Crematory, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville.
