Gwendolyn Mohler Robinson, 85, of Zanesville, died at 7:20 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 9, 1924, in Cold Springs, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Robert Earl and Rosalee Stockdale Watkins. She attended Westwood Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Melissa (Ronald) Dobbins of Philo, Becky (Floyd) Brown of Laurelville, Ohio, Cheryl Murrey of Zanesville and Sue (Larry) Hoover of Roseville; two sons, Bill Mohler of Zanesville and Richard Mohler of Columbus; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and a special care giver, Vicki Lindell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Mohler, who died in 1980; her second husband, Donald Robinson, who died in 1988; children, Robert Charles Mohler, Rosalee Frances Mohler and Randy A. Mohler; two sisters, Jeanne Beketic Amrine and Cora Malone; three brothers, Zeb Watkins, Richard Watkins and Charles Schiele; and a grandson, Todd Dobbins. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Mark E. Ballmer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora.
