Harold "Pete" W. Clayton

Harold “Pete” Clayton, 80, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, formerly of Zanesville, died at 10:14 P.M. Friday, June 18, 2021 at Elmwood Assisted Living in New Bremen. He was born April 21, 1941 in Cambridge, a son of the late Harold “Peanut” and Goldie Watson Clayton. He was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church and retired from Brockway Glass after 46 years of service. Pete was a member of the Eagles Lodge #302 and the Moose Lodge # 1533 of Indian Lake. He was a man who liked to work with his hands building his own home, attended all his grandchildren’s activities but where you would see Pete you always saw Patricia his wife, they were inseparable.

Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia Miller Clayton, whom he married March 3, 1963, two daughters, Crystal (Neal) Stoner and Karen (Stephen) Baldwin; a son, Kevin (Erin) Clayton; eight grandchildren, Kyle (Andi Mireles) Stoner , Kody and Chad Stoner, Kourtney (Dakota) Wright, Zack (Faith Hennon) Clayton, Elizabeth, Emily and Erika Baldwin and a brother, Ralph (Janis) Clayton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, James Clayton.

Friends and family may call from Noon until time of funeral at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, Zanesville, Pastor Iran Watson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
