Harry Lloyd Dutro, 90, of Adamsville, died at 9:40 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2009 at The Beckett House, New Concord. He was born May 13, 1919, in Blue Rock, a son of the late Roy and Annie Faulkerson Dutro. He was a mechanic for several years and then he worked for the Muskingum County Highway Department, where he retired in 1981. He was a United States Navy World War II Veteran. He went to the Full Gospel Shelter Church in Otsego for several years. Surviving are his wonderful wife of 72 years, Faye Black Dutro, of the home; three wonderful sons, Delmar and Jane, Larry, and Gary and Wanda Dutro, all of Adamsville; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Mae of Zanesville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Warner, Carl, Ralph, Clyde and Kenneth; and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Carol Dutro. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Adamsville. VFW George Selsam Post #1058 in conjunction with the United States Navy will hold full military rites at the graveside.
