Harry E. Miller, 87, died on Wed. Feb 24, 2021. He was born Oct. 28, 1933 in Dresden and graduated from Jefferson High School.
His parents were Frank ‘Doc’ Miller and Marjorie (Koman) Robbins.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force after over twenty-two years of service and achieved the rank of Senior Master Sargent. He was an air-craft mechanic and took pride in keeping his airplanes safe for his pilots. He served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Martha (Spiker) Miller; Sister, Janie Shope; Children, Brenda (Richard) Headley, Beth (Rick) Ryall and Tracy (Carla Jay) Miller; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews including Jeff Miller of Ohio Power who was like his second son.
He was preceded in death by brother, Dale Miller; sisters Rosemary Swope and Betty Riley; and brother in-law and best friend through life Gene Swope.
His last residence was the Adams Lane Care Center where he passed away. Our family thanks the staff there, Brookdale, Interim and the V.A.
Per his instructions there will be no services.
