Harry A. Nelson Jr. 83, of Zanesville, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his home. He was born June 26, 1938, in Zanesville, a son of the late Harry A. Sr. and Clarice Mingus Nelson. He was a electrician, loved to fish and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are two sons, Randy (Tina) Nelson and Jack (Denise) Nelson; four grandchildren, Amanda (Mike) Taylor, Thomas Nelson, Jack A. (Jessica) Nelson and Adam (Kendyl) Nelson; four great grandchildren and two brothers, Russell (Margaret) Nelson and Jack (Barbara) Nelson.
In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Nelson.
No calling hours will be observed. He will be cremated and buried on his beloved wife’s grave at Williams Cemetery, Zanesville on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 11:00 A.M, with full military rights accorded to him by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
