Hazel Moore Rambo, 91, of Zanesville, died at 5:55 a.m, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Cedar Hill Care Center. She was born June 3, 1918 in Walkon, Iowa, a daughter of the late James and Hattie Davidson Wickham. She retired as an assembly production line worker for Essex Wire. She was a member of the Zanesville First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed embroidering, sewing by hand, baking and cooking. Surviving are a daughter, Martha (Carl) Barker of Roseville; two sons, James (Starlet) Moore of Evarts, KY and Darrell (Tammy) Moore of Roseville; twelve grandchildren, James, Jamie, Shelly, Susan, Terry, Scott, Stacey, Kelley, Misty, Wendy, Troy and Travis; twenty-two great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Jack (Wilma) Wickham of Belle Valley, Leland (Thelma) Wickham of Zanesville and Ralph Wickham of South Zanesville. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Sumner Moore who died in 1961; her second husband, Russell Moore who died in 1993; her third husband, Rolland Rambo who died in 2001; a daughter Carol Ann Hall; and three sisters, Lucy Edwards, Florence Priest and Phoebe Bailey. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Dupler officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Ephraim Cemetery, Mt. Ephraim, Oh.
