Helen Christiansen, 87, of Zanesville, died at 6:50 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born May 16, 1924 in Cambridge, Ohio, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Barno Voytko. Helen was a long time hairdresser for over 60 years. She was a Catholic by faith. Surviving are a son, Thom Christiansen of San Diego, California; three sisters, Sue Greathouse of Colorado, Ann Bell of St. Petersburg, Florida and Margaret Warne of Zanesville; three nieces, Barbara (Jeff) Newman and Linda (David) Font, all of Florida and Tina Warne of North Carolina; two nephews, Terry (Marci) Warne of Zanesville and Eugene (Nancy) Voytko of McConnelsville; longtime friend and co-worker, Ernestine Bogle of Zanesville; longtime companion and friend, Steve Stewart of Zanesville; and her loving cat, Condolezza. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Pete and Steve Voytko.
